We are moving to St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands.
We will try to keep a rambling record for anyone that ever dreamed of giving it all up and moving to the Islands to learn from or just laugh at.

Change
Well I don't want to be political. But this truly is a big story regardless of your back ground. So congratulations to Barack Obama and good luck with the next four years. We all have a lot riding on the outcome. Jay

Did you two vote yesterday? If so, do you have any stories to tell us about the voting process in the islands?
Virgin Islanders do not vote in the presidential election. They hold elections for their local political offices. But we're not registered to vote yet here. We weren't sure if we could have absentee voted in the states with us moving our residency here, so we didn't even check into it. So we didn't participate this year.
