Tom Chapin at Tillet Gardens/Jack's

Wednesday night Deb and I went to an Art's Alive event at Tillet Gardens/Jack's Wings. It was Tom Chapin, Harry Chapin's brother. It was a last minute decision to go and turned out to be a nice evening. The music was good, and believe it or not the service from Jack's was to. The first set was more family friendly as there was a large group of school children there. Then the second set was more folk/rock and roll including a cover of Cat's and the Cradle. It's always impressive to see musicians that have played together for years. We sat about 20 feet from the stage. As an added bonus Sandy Chapin, Harry's widow, co writer of Cat's in The Cradle,  and a resident of St John was in the audience as well.
