The good the bad and the details.
We are moving to St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands.
We will try to keep a rambling record for anyone that ever dreamed of giving it all up and moving to the Islands to learn from or just laugh at.
It's fall in WV and these are real vine ripened tomatos. For those of you that have been to a produce department in de islands and paid six bucks a pound for red rubber hot house tomatos you know what these would be worth on de island.

I have been having fresh Jersey tomatoes with fresh basil almost every day - I am getting so spoiled by the stateside food choices this trip. Enjoy your vacation.
I love homegrown tomatoes. There really is no comparison to the ones in the supermarkets. Too bad the season for ripe ones is so short. Enjoy them while you can!
