Looks to be another beautiful Saturday morning. Jay is off today so
we'll probably head to the boat for awhile then to the Belgian beer
experience at Pie Whole for an early birthday dinner for Jay. Gonna be
a great day! Enjoy!

TGIF Everyone! Been a busy week and it's going to be a busy day today, but this weekend is shaping up to be a large one! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

BTW - the haze is clearing up, today looks like it's going to be a beautiful day. And we received our generator that we ordered last week. Yea! It's a Honda 2kw and should run most things at the house (individually of course). Just getting prepared for the upcoming season and the increasing WAPA outages. I'll let Jay tell you the specs and the process he went through ordering it. But we got a good deal and it was here pretty quick.

Fishing Sucks but the view isn't half bad

I am off today and decided to try a little fishing with Arlin. We didn't catch anything so we stopped in at Saba and did a little snorkling.

Belgian Beer Experience

Pie Whole is doing another Belgian Beer Experience this Saturday and Sunday. The menu sounds wonderful! Jay's birthday is coming up and he said this is what he wanted for his birthday present. Guess I'll just have to walk a few extra laps this week to make up for it :-)

Advanced Open Water

I finally decided to go for my Advanced Open Water certification.
Silvia is getting her Open Water certification as we speak so I'll be
doing the advanced with her. I watched the DVD so I'm ready for my
knowledge reviews :-) I still haven't decided which adventure dives I
want to do. Navigation and deep are required. I've already done wreck,
drift, boat and multilevel all with Admitalty Dive Center so I guess
they could just sign off on those but what would be the fun in that :-)

Happy Friday! This has been a great week. Off Monday (holiday) and off
Wednesday (played tourist) so only a three day work week!

We had a great time hanging out with our friends from WV that was here
for the day off a cruise ship. It was really hazy from the Sahara dust
so they didn't really get to see the beautiful blues when the sun is
out. But they had a great time so that's all that matters.

No plans for this weekend. Jay has to work. But I'm going to start
working on my Advance Open Water Certification. So I'm excited about
that. There are three of us that are going through Admiralty Dive
Center to get the Advance....some book work plus five dives....deep,
navigation, wreck, night and one more (haven't decided yet)

Crazy hazy out today. Been this way for several days now. The Sahara dust has arrived.

This pic shows the Sahara Dust layer in the atmosphere. Currently the caribbean is covered in red and a much larger area of dust seems to be headed our way.
